Amateur Radio Technician Class

Would you like to participate as a storm-spotter, help out with local community events, or stay in touch with friends and family when other means of communication do not work? If so, Amateur Radio is for you.

You will be able to use VHF and UHF frequencies for local communications as well as have limited HF privileges for world-wide communications with the Technician license.

Class hours are from 8:30am to 4:30pm each day. The FCC license exam will be administered on the final day of class. The cost of the exam is $14.00.

The class will be held at Tarrant County Public Health Department located at 1101 South Main – Fort Worth, Texas 76104
